What the service is
Managed Web Hosting provides website storage, attached domains, application runtimes, databases, TLS, scheduled jobs and operational history under one Silurian contract. It is not a virtual private server and does not provide root access to the underlying shared hosting platform.
Current catalogue and public names
Silurian publishes stable plan and option aliases while refreshing the current upstream Spanish catalogue. Provider plan codes, cart identifiers, private costs and delivery references remain operational evidence. A displayed price is rechecked before checkout and again before an authorised operator can submit the external order.
First annual term and renewal
Every plan and option keeps its first-term amount separate from its recurring renewal amount. A promotion, one-time certificate or included option must not be presented as the future renewal price. Checkout, the order, invoice line and subscription preserve both amounts independently in the customer contract currency.
Provisioning
The customer supplies an existing domain and the complete required option selection. Payment creates a reviewed provisioning job; it never triggers an unattended external purchase. OC prepares and prices the exact provider cart, presents cost and margin evidence for final human approval, then reconciles delivery before activating the Workspace product.
Administration
Workspace exposes ten scoped areas: overview, sites and domains, files and access, databases, applications, runtime, automation, security, performance and activity. Each product is permission-bound. Changes require an exact published confirmation; password-bearing controls stay in secure Workspace and do not pass through an AI conversation.
Silurian Site Studio
The Applications area includes the persistent Site Studio website builder. A deliberate Generate direction action sends only the bounded business brief and current editable copy to the configured OpenAI model with provider storage disabled. Strict structured output can propose page and service copy, template, palette and navigation, while Silurian validates the result and remains the sole renderer of responsive HTML, local CSS, canonical and social metadata, structured data, CSP, robots.txt, sitemap, manifest and checksum. Save preserves the private project across sessions. Publish transfers every generated file over the provider's secure file endpoint, downloads it again to verify the checksum, and then switches the attached domain to a versioned release path. Earlier releases remain available for explicit restore. Publication passwords are used only for the current request and are never stored or exposed to CIA.
Infrastructure supplier
Silurian supplies and invoices the managed service and provides first-line support. The underlying hosting infrastructure is operated by OVHcloud and contracted through OVH HISPANO, S.L., calle Alcalá 21, 5ª, 28014 Madrid, Spain. Customers receive no access to Silurian's provider account or private purchase identifiers.
Backups, security and availability
Provider snapshots, database dumps, TLS and platform protections are useful controls but do not replace an application recovery plan. Retention, restoration assistance, off-platform copies, monitoring and incident response apply only when the order expressly includes them. Customers remain responsible for application updates, access credentials, lawful content and timely response to abuse or compromise notices.
Prices, tax and support
Catalogue amounts are net before applicable tax in the active Silurian country currency. The first annual charge and renewal are shown separately, including customer discount where applicable. Silurian coordinates platform incidents with the infrastructure operator; development, migration, content work and application maintenance are separate services unless included in the order.
